3D Animation and Modeling:

We offer professional 3D computer graphics using the latest software. Highly skilled in all aspects of 3D modeling and animation with abilities such as prototyping, character animation, set extensions and composting. Most of the models in our scenes have been done in house, but occasionally other commercial objects are bought and then modified to save time and money. We can recreate almost anything as a digital model if given sufficient resource materials. Photo-realism and detail is only limited by time and budget.

Digital models are also used in set extensions and environment enhancements during post production.

Prototyping: We have extensive experience in prototyping for inventions. Because of non-disclosure agreements we are unable to post images of those projects at this time. We can not only accurately replicate materials on the digital models, we can create models that can be sent off to be physically prototyped using 3d printers. This is a separate contract between the client and the facility doing the 3d printing. Though we hope to have that ability in house at some point.

Digital Visual Effects:

Our services include creating CGI visual effects using After Effects, 3D software, and other digital composting programs. We have experience in creating set extensions, chroma key, and mixing pre-keyed smoke, glass, and explosion effects. Pre-viz and on set guidance is key to post production success. We strongly recommend hiring for post production before the shots are made. Pre-viz and/or designing the shot before just shooting going and filming is absolutely key.

Graphic Design:

Dreams & Magic offers professional 2D vector based illustration, photography, layout, and top notch graphic design for brochures, logos, CD covers, and more. We stress good use of color and clean design. We research your competition prior to creating mock ups. It’s not just about what looks good. The design must convey an idea and/or call to action. The design must be functional as well as attractive.

Knowing the audience and knowing people really helps with this process.

As with any professional design company we can output to nearly any format and resolution, but we do not do printing. For printing we can refer you to a number of good low cost printers that are known to be reliable. We have both local and out of state print resources.

Photography: We are also capable of professional grade photography. Good visuals is essential to selling your service, product or message. If you are needing us or any company to develop your E-commerce site it’s essential to have professional images of your products. If you provide your own imagery it must be high quality and large enough to work with.

Convert Raster to Vector: This can be a difficult process but is possible if the raster source is very clean with no gradients. Gradients in the image to be vectored is usually a deal breaker. Once in vector format the image (usually a logo) can be used at any scale and for any sized print work.

Web Design:

We have over 10 years of experience and success in building web sites. Our new direction in web design is a focus on CMS (Content Management Systems) web sites with or without full e-commerce. The old traditional method of site development is no longer in, however for small business card sites we recommend this method because now part of Google’s search engine ranking is determined my the speed of your site’s load time. We use WordPress or Drupal to develop CMS’s but are also open to other packages.

A CMS site allows the end user to log into a back end to make modifications. This is especially useful for e-commerce sites where prices often need to be changed. We find that WordPress is the easiest package for the end user. A CMS also allows for easy swapping of themes or theme elements. We can and have stretched WordPress to it’s limits with a combination of programming and plugins.

We are very visually oriented and are a leader in the industry by making some of the best looking sites on the web. We have designed our own shopping cart code for e-commerce sites, but also make use of packages specifically designed for the CMS’s we use. Good design isn’t everything. These days a truly successful web site relies on search engine optimization, Social Media and marketing outside the internet. We can help you grow your site’s popularity. Don’t rely on the search engines, it requires actually marketing your site.

Though the strategy for web design varies site to site, in general we have several core ideas to making a great site, but it’s still always up to the client’s discretion.
